Sparrow, released by DeepMind as an “information-seeking dialogue agent”, focuses on accuracy by going beyond RLHF and LangChain-like techniques. While the paper perhaps did not get the attention it deserved, it shows a lot of promise in making dialogue-based generative AI more reliable and safe.
